Here you will find a selection of images that have been used extensively in our documentary and illustrate different parts of the Greenhills story. They have been divided into various categories so that you can see all the photos that relate to that part of our story.
All of these images have been kindly donated for our use by various sources and organizations, and we gratefully acknowledge their help.

Farms
Here you will find the photos that relate to the farms and farming activities that happened in the past in Greenhills. Some are of the farmhouses themselves that were farmed by the Allison's, the Wisemans, the Smillies, and the Wilson's amongst others.

Holiday Camp
From the 1920's onwards the farmers in the Greenhills area used to let some of their lands to people who wanted to pitch Holiday Homes here. These photos show the diverse types of people, the accommodation they built and used, and some of the activities that they got up to.

High Point
These images relate to the site known locally as High Point. This area was covered in great detail in our documentary and is possibly the site of an earth and timber castle, the seat of power for the Lickprivick Family around about the 13TH Century. This collection of images show the High Point as it is today and also a variety of photos that were taken during the production of the video.
